The iPhone 7 got released last week and this week we've been dealing with initial impression stories. Whining coils, scratch tests, home buttons inoperable with gloves on, Intel chips inside - the sort of things no keynote prepares you for.

With the iPhone 7 already out, the focus is gradually shifting towards the next big thing in the industry - the Google Pixel smartphones launch. Officially coming on October 4, the Pixel and Pixel XL should usher in Android 7.1 and come with IP53 certification and revised chipsets.
