This is a very great app, since it has an area that can shut off almost all apps from connecting the net, your mic, locations, etc etc and tell the app to notify you before it connects.
That serious aspect of this app needs root access for system apps but any other installed via user can be denied, or user notified before connection.
I used Comodo on my PC for 8 years and now love it on my Android.
And shutting off apps from connecting also shuts off their need for CPU so in my case I got 20% more battery each day after setting up Comodo to stop needless battery hogs.
